Volunteers needed!!!
It takes volunteers to have a successful meet at home and away. We're counting on our Shark parents/guardians to give support (blood, sweat and fins) to make every swim meet a great experience for all. In that regard, the Fort Washington Swim Team offers a $50 membership fee rebate for families whose members volunteer for three swim meets and one team event during the season. We encourage and implore you to volunteer as much as you can. Team event volunteer sign-up sheets are posted at the pool and they fill up quickly. When volunteering for a swim meet official position, make sure that you sign the roster. The membership fee rebates are mailed out at the close of the season.

The following is a list of the minimum officials needed by the home team (H), the away team (A), or both (H & A):

1 Hy-Tech Operator (can perform as a scorer at the same time) (H)

Staffing swim meet Concessions is very important to the team and has at least three positions that need to be filled for our home swim meets. The more the merrier!
The Sharks have many social events throughout the season and there's always room for more ideas and help to make them successful. Volunteering gives you the opportunity to meet and visit with new and old friends and to support your Sharks.
We can't do it without you, and be assured that every Shark and Guppy thanks you for all that you do.
